FAQ

Is this safe to use postpartum?

Wait at least 6 weeks after a vaginal delivery, and longer after a C-section or any pelvic complication. Always get cleared by your OB or midwife before starting any pelvic floor program. Niella is a fitness tool, not a medical device — it's designed to support recovery, not replace professional care.

How is this different from Kegels?

Traditional Kegels ask you to contract your pelvic floor without any feedback. Most women can't tell if they're doing it right, and many compensate by squeezing the wrong muscles entirely. Niella works differently: you squeeze the device between your knees, which co-activates your inner thighs and pelvic floor. You feel the contraction. The Smart Counter shows you the rep. No guesswork.

How long until I see results?

Most women feel a difference in 2 weeks of consistent daily use. Most see meaningful change in 6 weeks. Like any strength training, the muscles need time to adapt — but unlike most training, you'll see your progress on the counter from day one.

Does it require an app or charging?

No. The Smart Counter runs on a replaceable button battery (included) and works out of the box. There's no app, no Bluetooth, no subscription, and nothing to set up. You squeeze, it counts.

What if it doesn't work for me?

You have 30 days to try it. If Niella isn't working for you, email us and we'll refund the purchase — no questions, no return-and-restock fees. We only ask that you give it at least two weeks of consistent use first, because the muscles genuinely need that time to respond.

When will my order arrive?

Orders ship from our US fulfillment partner within 1–3 business days. US delivery typically takes 5–8 business days from the date you order. You'll get a tracking number by email the moment your package leaves the warehouse.

Is shipping free?

Yes. Free US shipping on every order, no minimum.

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet. We're US-only for now while we get the brand established. International shipping is on the roadmap.

Can I use this if I haven't had a baby?

Yes. Pelvic floor strength matters for all women, not just postpartum moms. Niella is also used by women in perimenopause, women recovering from pelvic surgery (with provider approval), and women who just want to maintain core and pelvic strength as part of a regular fitness routine.

Is the device discreet?

It's quiet — no clicks or beeps. The Smart Counter has a small LCD that shows your rep count. You can use it on the couch, on a call, or in bed. It's not a wearable, so no one needs to know you're using it unless you want them to.

Who do I contact if I have a problem?

Email us at GetNiella. Every email gets read by an actual person. We typically respond within 24 hours on business days.
